1.Minimum Qualifications / Experience
•Comsoc 1 and 2
•National Safety Diploma would be an advantage
•At least 5 years experience in an open cast mining environment
•At least 3 years Managerial experience
•ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 – Implementation and internal audit experience
2.Key Performance Areas:
The successful candidate will lead the SHEQ team in providing a totally integrated function to the site and to influence the site management to embed a culture of SHEQ excellence.
3.Competencies
•Effective oral and/or written communication skills
•Self-motivated and self-driven
•Good problem solving and analytical skills
•Strong organisational skills
4.Other
•Proficient in MS Office
•Valid driver licence
•Prepare to work on any site (both local and international)
